Posted in Technology on January 23, 2009 by hubricantBeing homeless seems a widely misunderstood state. More on that another time. For now though, I’d like to share an excellent technical solution for cold weather for “homeless” people.
There are a few things that I really like about this project: simplicity (adherence to basic design principles), affordable and carefully designed for a specific group of clients… have a look at the jacket for homeless people in cold places, that uses old newspapers.
I particularly like the fact that this product has been tested by someone who put himself in a walk-in refrigerator for an extended period. the video is on the site, after the intro flash.
